If you are overweight and serious about losing extra pounds, the solution is simple _consume fewer calories and get more exercise. Do this on a moderate, regular schedule _no crash or fad diets and no furious exercise programs. It takes 3,500 calories to make one pound of body fat, so by cutting only 500 calories a day, a dieter can lose one pound in a week. This is a safe amount to lose and an effective way to diet.

During the weight loss period, the subjects lost an average of 5.9kg. Those who consumed caffeine lost more weight than those who did not. They also reduced their fat mass and waist circumference more than those who did not consume caffeine. During the weight maintenance period, all of the subjects received either a green tea/caffeine supplement or a placebo. They were instructed to continue their normal caffeine consumption.

You might be amazed when you find out all the choices available for weight maintenance.

Virtually everyone today is interested in weight control, and this means both men and women. Obesity rates are skyrocketing everywhere and even children are becoming affected. But while it's easy to gain weight, losing it and controlling it are very difficult for most. Without taking harsh medicines or undergoing dangerous surgery, you may want to consider trying a natural weight control treatment first.
